Will Burns wins Ant & Dec's GOLDEN BUZZER with hilarious Gogglebox impression!

   

The comedian received the first golden buzzer of the series from Ant and Dec after his impressionist comedy routine wowed the judges including Simon Cowell.

Britain's Got Talent superfan Will Burns is over the moon after receiving high praise from his idol Simon Cowell, feeling like a champion already.

The comic impressed the judges with his spot-on impressions and secured the first golden buzzer of the new series from hosts Ant and Dec. The 25 year old, who has adored the show since he was seven, described the opportunity to perform as a dream come 'true'.Reflecting on Simon's reaction, Will said: "Simon laughing at me, I don't think I could get any higher than that," adding with a smile, "It's a pinch me, die happy moment. I mean, I've literally got his bobble head on my desk! ".

Leeds-based charity worker Will has been an ardent BGT enthusiast since its inception in 2007. He shared, "Growing up, I was obsessed. I had a Britain's Got Talent themed bedroom. I got a hoodie for Christmas one year that said 'William's Got Talent' on it. I have always dreamed of being on the show."

Delivering a comedy act complete with impressions of BGT announcer Peter Dickson, Gogglebox's Craig Cash and David Attenborough, he earned a standing ovation from the crowd and judges Simon, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli.Will has captivated audiences of all ages with his comedic acts. 

Speaking of performing at the Royal Variety Show, should he win, Will said: "I feel like since I was seven, my whole life's been building up to this. I've always dreamed of being on that stage and I've done it. The comedy course with the Prince's Trust literally set my comedy journey off. So if I got to perform for the King, that would be the definition of full circle moment."

As for the £250,000 prize money, Will has practical plans. "I'd have to move out," said Will, who still resides with his parents in Leeds. "Maybe that's why my mum and dad are so excited I got the golden buzzer."
