Will the Indianapolis Colts Win Their Remaining Three Games?

Can the 6-8 Indianapolis Colts win their final three games of the season? They’re coming off a disastrous Week 15 road loss to the Denver Broncos. The Colts started the game off great, looking like they were going to pull off an impressive upset. They were slated to go up 19-7, but Jonathan Taylor’s 41-yard touchdown was overturned when he dropped the ball before crossing the goal line. The Colts were then outscored 24-0 and lost the contest 31-13.

Week 16, Home vs. Tennessee Titans (3-11)

The Titans recently benched Will Levis in favor of Mason Rudolph. That means there won’t be an interesting quarterback battle between Levis and Indy’s Anthony Richardson, who were both drafted in 2023. Some fans and pundits believed the Colts were going to draft Levis fourth overall, but obviously, they took Richardson instead.

Tennessee has had an awful 2024 campaign. Yet, don’t underestimate this team. Back in Week 12, they stunned C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans with an upset 32-27 road victory.

The Colts defeated the Titans in Nashville back in Week 6. Joe Flacco was Indy’s starting quarterback at the time. Richardson, who now has his starting job back, should lead Indianapolis to a home win at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Week 17, Away at New York Giants (2-12)

The Giants will likely select a quarterback like Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward in the 2025 NFL Draft. But as of right now, the team lacks a franchise signal-caller. And when you don’t have one, it’s really difficult to win games in the National Football League. That’s the main reason the Giants only have two wins this season.

Indianapolis won at MetLife Stadium earlier this year, beating Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets. Look for them to win again at that venue, knocking off the struggling Giants this time around.

Week 18, Home vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-11)

Trevor Lawrence is out for the season after injuring his shoulder. Mac Jones will likely start at quarterback in the Jaguars’s regular-season finale against the Colts.

Sure, facing Jones instead of Lawrence will make things easier for Indy. But as every Colts fan knows, their team always has trouble with Jacksonville.

The Colts lost on the road to the Jags in Week 5 of this season. Expect Indianapolis to get the win this time, though, finish with another 9-8 season, and unfortunately miss out on the playoffs once again.
