Genoa City’s elite have been invited to the media party of the year. That means no one will be around to run their businesses. Could something happen while they’re aware? Fans of The Young and the Restless came up with a thrilling twist on this storyline.

New Perspective On the Dumas Invite

The soap wants us to focus on who’s been invited to Aristotle Dumas’ party in Nice, France. So far, that guest list includes Victor (Eric Braeden), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Jack (Peter Bergman), Diane (Susan Walters), Billy (Jason Thompson), Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), Sharon (Sharon Case), Nick (Joshua Morrow), Sally (Courtney Hope), Audra (Zuleyka Silver), and Kyle (Michael Mealor). Some of GC’s most important people are leaving the town behind.

A fan on Reddit posed an interesting theory: “Think about who or what will still be in GC… who could take advantage of what in GC while all these people are gone?” Most of us are focused on this party invite, and we’re excited to hopefully see Dumas. However, we also need to focus on what could happen in Genoa City during this time.
