Well Juh-nelle….
Former Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans is currently doing the press circuit trying to promote the “Divorce Party” she’s throwing in New York City on Thursday, but during an interview with Us Weekly on Wednesday, she revealed that she seemingly does not know how old her eldest son, Jace, actually is.
During the interview, Jenelle talked about Jace and her other kids, Ensley and Kaiser, stating that the kids are her first priority. She told the magazine’s reporter that she is “finding the calm and safety for my children.”
However, when Jenelle was asked about her son Jace’s upcoming birthday, she not only got his age wrong but corrected the reporter, who got Jace’s age right.
“What is it like? He’s about to be, what, 16?” the reporter asked Jenelle.
“Well, he’s about to be 15,” Jenelle replied.
As ‘Teen Mom’ fans know, Jace was born during Jenelle’s episode of 16 and Pregnant in August of 2009. That makes him currently 15 years old, with his 16th birthday approaching, unlike what Jenelle stated.
She did say some nice things about her son, though, during the interview.
“Time has literally flown by….he went from a little boy to a young man overnight,” Jenelle said. “…he’s a big help around the house and he wants to do good in life. He’s really into dirt bikes and fixing them and stuff like that. So maybe he’ll be a mechanic. We’ll see…”
