Zac Taylor is happy the Bengals can focus on the Steelers with no distractions

NFL: Denver Broncos đấu với Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals have found themselves alive again with an 8-8 record heading into the final week of the regular season.

The Bengals will take on the Steelers in Pittsburgh with massive playoff implications on both sides of the football field.

If the Bengals lose, the season comes to an end. If the Bengals win, they’re still alive in the playoff hunt but will need help from the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon vs. the Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos, respectively.

With Cincinnati’s four straight wins, the NFL decided to throw the Bengals into another road primetime game, the fifth one of the season, to be exact, which is an NFL record.

The good news is that Cincinnati won’t be worried about scoreboard watching during the game, as the Dolphins and Broncos don’t play until Sunday.

Zac Taylor had a good response when asked about another road playoff game.

“I don’t think that’s the worst thing. There are no distractions there. We’re all human, and so I understand the things that could happen if they were all at the same time. And so I do think that’s probably a positive for us that we’re just going to play by ourselves and focus on Pittsburgh, and that’s all we can do,” said Taylor.

This is actually a really good answer from Taylor, because at this point, the Bengals can only control what they can control. Win Saturday, then sit back and see how Sunday plays out.

Cincinnati will indeed need quite a bit of help, but the one thing remains. Joe Burrow and the Bengals must beat the Steelers to keep any hope alive.
