Amanda decided to play a prank when making a radio appearance away from Heart
Britain’s Got Talent’s Amanda Holden left her radio rivals floored with a ‘dirty’ insult during a live interview.
It’s been a busy period for the TV personality, currently judging her ITV programme’s semi-finals and fronting a new Netflix dating show.
Despite Heart Radio’s biggest rivals being Capital Radio, Amanda appeared on Wednesday’s (May 7) edition of Capital Breakfast with Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby.
During the interview, Amanda played a brilliant prank on the presenting trio by removing the Capital mic muff.
“Before we start, I am just going to say this is a dirty muff [pulls off mic muff]. That is a dirty muff… So, I’ve brought my own,” she said.
Met with a chorus of boos from those in the studio, Amanda proceeded to pull out a Heart muff and place it on her microphone.
“So, Amanda’s taken off the Capital branded mic muff and replaced it with a Heart one. That just feels weird,” Jordan said.
Amanda cheekily replied: “Well, it’s a clean muff and that’s what we need in the mornings.”
Bursting out in laughter, Sian told Amanda: “Too right, what a quote! What a quote for this time in the morning.”
During the interview, Amanda was quizzed by Chris if she’s ever ‘fake cried at an act’ on Britain’s Got Talent as she's the judge who tends to get the most emotional.
“How dare you. No, I haven’t. I’m such a wet and I’m on the edge at all times. What I do make sure of is that the camera picks it up. So, I’m like ‘wait a minute, I feel emotional’. Camera five okay,” she said.
Later asked if Simon Cowell or Jamie Theakston is ‘harder to work with’, Amanda teased that she ‘can control Jamie more’ and explained why she shows Simon 'respect'.
She explained: “Jamie’s more under the thumb.
