Cincinnati Bengals superstar Ja'Marr Chase had one of the best seasons by a wide receiver ever in 2024, and he has earned the respect from many of the members of the 2025 NFL Draft class.
In a recent live stream where he was playing Fortnite, Miami quarterback and potential No. 1 pick Cam Ward listed off who he believes are the four best receivers in the NFL. Two of his answers were Calvin Ridley and Treylon Burks, which is obviously him sucking up to the Tennessee Titans, who could draft him No. 1. But his other two players are former LSU stars Justin Jefferson and Chase.
Regarding Chase? It's a hot opinion. But it's not a controversial one.
It is hard to dispute the talent that Chase has, as he has just over 5,400 yards in just his first four seasons in the NFL, which ranks him third all time behind only Jefferson and Michael Thomas.
The Bengals star became just the fifth player since 1970, and the first since Cooper Kupp in 2021, to lead the league in receiving yards, receptions, and touchdowns, which has been called the Triple Crown.
With Bengals star quarterback Joe Burrow bouncing back as well as he could from an injury in the 2023 season, he and Chase are becoming one of the best duos the NFL has seen in a long time, and they both still have plenty of career left.
Chase has already become one of the best receivers in recent memory, and he just now turned 25 years old. If he keeps going like he is, he could very well become one of the best wideouts to ever play the game.
