Even notoriously tough-to-impress Simon said he would remember the teen rapper for 'all the right reasons'
This is the moment a young Cork rapper took to one of the biggest talent show stages in the world, and blew the judges and audience away with an original and heartfelt rap.
Northside native Jamie 'The King' Forde performed for the Britain's Got Talent judging panel – and won the hearts of telly fans watching from home – performing his own song, 'Life in a Wheelchair.'
The inspiring tune was written by the 19-year-old with thought-provoking lyrics over an incredibly catchy beat, with a message that the judges hailed as being "absolutely amazing."
The lyrics include, "People trying to get in my way when I'm trying to get through, what's the story? Stop skipping the queue," and "I'm not Colin Farrell or Brendan Gleeson so why am I getting gawked at for no reason?"
And with what the notoriously tough-to-impress Simon Cowell described as a "great attitude", Jamie really made Cork proud as he delivered his message that "me and my wheels are here to stay."
The judging panel adored the audition and sent Jamie straight through to the next round. Alesha Dixon said she was "so impressed" by the young rapper.
Honestly you can feel your passion through your lyrics it's absolutely amazing... Today you were the king on that stage, Jamie. I loved it," she said.
Amanda Holden added: "It was so brilliant to hear everything that you think, done in such a cool way. it's just brilliant. What a talent! I loved it." While Bruno Tonioli praised him as a "born performer."

Simon kicked off the yeses, saying: "When you're doing something that you love, people are going to remember you for all the right reasons. And I really like you. You've kind of got a great kind of attitude. I love that, yeah, let me kick this off with a yes."
Jamie is well known in the Cork music scene as one of the stars of the Kabin Studio in Knocknaheeney. He's been performing with the community youth music group since he was just 10 and has gone viral a number of times with plenty of hits in his repertoire.
The Kabin Studio has been operating out of a repurposed shipping container in Knocka since it was founded by Garry McCarthy, GMC Beats, in 2012.
The non-profit youth music studio has long been recognised locally for empowering young Cork people through music and songwriting and is a vital creative outlet for kids on the Northside. And the kids finally broke into the international music scene last year with the release of smash-hit success The Spark.
But before 'The Spark' there was the pure Cork 'Ya Boy,' which starred Jamie and fellow rapper MC Tiny. The catchy hit is now over five years old and at the time it was viral across Ireland, with the lads performing it on Irish radio and telly. Check it out below:
