Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) hurled accusations back and forth about why nobody wants to be Rachel’s (Alice Halsey) friend. Could it be because she’s rude, smug, superior, and expects to get her own way, either by whining or by violence? Maybe.
But whose fault is that? Is it Brady’s for drinking? Is it Kristen’s for being a terrible role model? Is it her missing grandpa? Is it her loony and murderous grandma? Maybe she’s just not a nice person, and it’s nobody’s fault but hers? Why do we feel the answer — and a lot more — will come out at Rachel’s birthday party?

Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) only bid on Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) at the hospital Bachelor Auction to stick it to JJ (Casey Moss). Well, now you can consider JJ gotten.
But Gabi isn’t done yet. She wants her date. She doesn’t care that Alex is in a relationship with Stephanie (Abigail Klein). This is for charity, sir! Now wine and dine me! For the good of sick people…or something.
What’s the Buzz, Tell Me What’s Happening
Alex let slip to Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) that there may be a very good financial reason for Xander (Paul Telfer) to be so interested in buying University Hospital. So Philip made his own phone calls, and now he has his own agenda.
Meanwhile, Xander pursues Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) for answers he can take back to his board in order to get his own way — and cut out Philip. Do these two brothers know they’re both supposed to be on the same side?
