On October 24, Dolores Catania got candid about a recent cosmetic procedure.

"If you know me, I am always transparent about my self-care journey," The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom shared in an Instagram video detailing her latest beauty move. "From red carpets to TV screens, I take pride in my confidence – but I am also not one to hide from my insecurities. For me, that is the loose skin around my knees."

The mom of two went on to explain why she partnered with Renuvion, which is a body contouring technology that "treats loose skin" to tackle the areas around her knees.

"I am continuing my wellness journey to look and feel my best but to also inspire you to look and feel your best," Dolores said in the video. She added that the technology uses a combination of "radio frequency energy" and "helium plasma" to target the "collagen-rich tissues" to "pull the skin closer to the muscle" to achieve a smoother appearance.

"I’m taking you all on this journey with me and will be sharing every step along the way, including my results!" Dolores concluded her caption, inviting her followers to ask any questions they have about the procedure.

Dolores also recently shared another element from her "self-care journey": getting a mammogram.

"Honored and thrilled to share my experience on NBC News 4 New York yesterday, highlighting the incredible efforts at Maimonides Hospital for breast cancer awareness!" Dolores captioned a series of October 29 Instagram videos of her appearance on NBC News 4 New York. In the videos, Dolores spoke about how a friend, who lost his mother to breast cancer, pushed her to get a check-up.

"I get nasty, I get deep!" Dolores confessed about her own pushing her friends to get annual check-ups. "We would die for our children; but would you live for them?"

Dolores also shared that her advocacy for women inspired her more than 1 million followers to get themselves looked after.
