Emmerdale Shocker: Ruby’s Pregnancy Confirmed – But the Dad Is a Mystery!

Emmerdale fans are speculating a surprising pregnancy twist for Ruby Fox-Miligan.

Ruby, portrayed by Beth Cordingly, has been through a tumultuous period recently. Her life was thrown into chaos last year with the arrival of her estranged father Anthony Fox, played by Nicholas Day. As Anthony made himself at home in the village, Ruby's behaviour became increasingly erratic, hinting at a hidden secret about her father.

This even led to an unexpected liaison with her brother-in-law Cain Dingle, acted by Jeff Hordley. It was later unveiled that Anthony had sexually abused Ruby when she was just 14 years old.

Furthermore, it was confirmed that Anthony is the biological father of Ruby's daughter Steph, played by Georgia Jay, not Caleb Miligan, portrayed by William Ash. After Anthony's heinous crimes were revealed, many villagers sought revenge, including Aaron Dingle, played by Danny Miller.

Ruby could be pregnant, according to fans

Haunted by his own childhood sexual abuse, Aaron violently assaulted Anthony, leaving him for dead. Aaron's partner John Sugden, played by Oliver Farnworth, stepped in to protect Aaron and disposed of the body, refusing to disclose its location, reports Leeds Live.

The truth eventually emerged that Ruby was the one who killed Anthony, finishing what Aaron had started. Several other characters have since become entangled in the murder cover-up, including Chas Dingle, played by Lucy Pargeter, and Cain.

Fans don't think Caleb or Cain is the dad

However, fans are now predicting a shocking twist - they believe Ruby could be pregnant, and there are concerns that neither Caleb nor Cain is the real father. An Emmerdale fan page on Facebook saw heated speculation, with one viewer writing: "Ruby is pregnant with Cain's baby."

But as the debate heated up in the comments, some countered that Anthony might be the father. "She took the morning after pill but it doesn't always work."

a second fan observed, while another speculated, "Or Anthony's baby?" The theory found support, with one remarking, "I thought the same, how gross!" and another simply stating, "You never know, it's soapland anything is possible."

Further discussion came with a point raised about the morning after pill's effectiveness: "Why do people keep commenting she can't be because of the morning after pill? Do people think it's 100% effective? ? It isn't and it gets less and less effective with every hour you wait to take it or if she vomited after taking it, etc."
