Gina Kirschenheiter & Travis Mullen Have Taken a "Big Step" & Moving Back in Together

Gina Kirschnheiter officially has a "new perspective on life" in her and Travis Mullen's relationship. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member and her boyfriend have been dating since 2019, and are only getting closer, even after going through things in RHOC Season 18, and now are moving back in with one another after navigating living separately.

During RHOC Season 18, Gina and Travis made the decision to live separately because Gina needed more space for herself and the three kids that she shares with her ex-husband, Matt Kirschenheiter. But, Gina and Travis are making some major progress in their relationship and moving back in together with their three kids each, as will be documented on RHOC Season 19, which debuts on Bravo on Thursday, July 10 (with episodes airing the next day on Peacock).

Why did Gina Kirschenheiter move out of her house with Travis Mullen?

Gina had made the decision for her and Travis to live in separate homes during RHOC Season 18 because she needed more space for both of their families. "We went and looked at houses, and we looked at what it would take to get into a house the size of our family, and we can't afford it," she admitted. "Honestly, my gut is telling me that we need to live separately and see where the chips land."

"I do love my life, and I do love my family," she said on RHOC Season 18, Episode 3. "But there's something here that's just not functioning right because the children needed more space."

Although Gina was sad about this, she knew that she was making the right choice. "I do think this is the right decision and I see things we're gaining from this, but now I'm actually faced with the reality of, 'OK, but, you're not gonna be here tonight.' And that feels bad," she added during the episode.

Gina Kirschenheiter shares an update on her relationship with Travis Mullen

Gina recently took to Instagram, where she gave an update on her relationship with Travis, whom she called her "love." She also gave some insight into how Travis is as a "bonus dad" to their "blended family."

 

"Happy Father's Day to the man who holds it all together," she wrote over the video. "The man who plays with them, dances with them, who flips them and holds them, who teaches them and guides them, who takes a six hour class to volunteer to sit in the blistering sun to umpire his stepson's games, who makes them laugh endlessly, who cooks the best steak around...who is the epitome of a man. Who has shown me and all six of our kids the meaning of love ALWAYS."

"Who would fight for our beautiful blended family at all costs," she added. "Who has filled my heart forever. I love you. We all love you."

Earlier in the month, Gina took to Instagram where she posted a photo of her and Travis' families together on the last day of school. In the photo, all six kids can be seen posing alongside the parents, excited for the summer in front of them.

"A big congratulations to our middles for officially clapping out of elementary school!!" she wrote in the caption of the post. "So proud of all of our kiddos. A huge thank you to their wonderful teachers who supported and loved our kids all year long."
