Gina Offers New Details on Her "Tough Year" with Heather & Where They Go Next (EXCLUSIVE)

   

RHOC's Gina Kirschenheiter teases if "progress was made" at the Season 18 reunion for the group.

It has been a "tough year" for Gina Kirschenheiter and Heather Dubrow's friendship. Both women had their fair share of ups and downs throughout The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18. But despite the rollercoaster of emotions, in a new interview with The Daily Dish, Gina revealed that their friendship has come a long way and gone through a lot of progress.

"It was a tough year for her and I, but I also do think sometimes you kind of have to have those readjustment years," she told The Daily Dish in an exclusive interview on Oct 30.  Although she admitted that their arguing had been a bit "silly" this season, it actually brought them "closer."

"I think it was kind of good for Heather to be challenged a bit this year, you know?" she noted. Gina also revealed that watching back her not see eye to eye with Heather and her fellow cast members this season had been hard for her. But having "time and space" gave her a renewed perspective on things. "You just look at things differently," she noted.

"And then when you see what everyone else is fighting about, you just kind of like, look at each other, and you're like, 'Dang. I'd rather be fighting over a mammogram than all this other stuff.' It just starts to seem kind of silly and then you just let it go," she concluded.

Next up. the aldies will further reflect on the drama in the three-part RHOC Season 18 reunion. Whe the RHOC Season 18 reunion airs (beginning on Nov. 7), Gina revealed that viewers will see the cast members actually trying to resolve things between one another.

"I think that our reunion, people that needed to work things out, I think there was some progress there," she explained. "And I don't think it was, like, phony, you know? I think that was probably good."

"But I think that progress was made...," she added. "The hope is there that's what I can say. I think that's good."

lthough arguing is par for the course during reunions, Gina revealed that she is not the biggest fan of all the arguing. "I don't want everybody to be fighting like this all the time," she continued. "So if we can work it out and figure it out so that everybody can just carry on and not carry on with so much animosity towards each other, that would be a good goal for us."
