Fire Country stars Max Thieriot as Bode Leone (formerly Bode Donovan), a young convict who has a troubled past. He hopes to redeem himself and shorten his prison sentence by volunteering for the California Conservation Camp Program, where prisoners assist the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire). Bode lands an assignment in his Northern California hometown and must work alongside former friends, fellow inmates and firefighters to put out the massive fires in the region.
