The professional dancer is enjoying time away from the dance floor
Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Jowita Przystal has shared a family update on social media. The dancer has been on the BBC dance show since joining in 2021.
Jowita has been dancing since she was 12 years old has achieved a lot in her career so far, winning the Polish Open Latin and bring crowned the winner of The Greatest Dancer in 2020.
The Polish ballroom dancer won Strictly Come Dancing in 2022 when she was partnered with Hamza Yassin. The couple's routines included a Salsa, Couple's Choice, and Showdance. The public vote determined the winner, with judges' scores used as guidelines.
Off-screens and away from the dance floor, Jowita enjoys spending time with her family. She took to Instagram today to share photos of her niece as she celebrates her fifth birthday.
The 30-year-old captioned the post: "It’s my little princes Birthday. Can’t believe she’s already 5 #auntie #happybirthday." Fans of the BBC star took to the comments with messages of support.

Pete Wicks was among those who liked the post. Jowita and Pete were partners on the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing. Pete and Jowita narrowly missed out on making the final of Strictly Come Dancing in 2024. They were the 11th couple to be voted off in the semi-final.
Pete and Jowita performed an Argentine Tango to "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve and a Foxtrot to "Beyond The Sea" by Bobby Darin. They received a combined score of 65 points, and came up against Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec in the dance-off.
Jowita has been offering regular insights into her family life since the Strictly Live Tour ended. This week, she also shared a video of herself and her dad in the kitchen together, wearing matching floral aprons.
In the video, they made potato pancakes. Alongside the post, the dancer shared: "Not sure if anyone knows but my dad is a chef.
"As a little girl I spent so much time with him in the kitchen, cooking, baking, studying old and discovering new recipes. Basically he thought me everything…hmmm maybe apart from maintaining a clean workspace, that’s on my mum.
"But while I was home I asked him to cook something together. Lately my dad came back to hiking so we decided to make a traditional highlander’s Moskole - cooked mash potato’s pancakes."
