Kandi Burruss Furious With Bravo For 'Disrespect' Shown Toward Kenya Moore While Filming Season 16

Kandi Burruss is calling out Bravo, NBC Universal, and the producers of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" for mistreating Kenya Moore during season 16.

For those who may be unfamiliar with the situation, Moore and Bravo had a major falling out in the summer of 2024. Reports began to swirl saying that Moore had allegedly showcased compromising photos of her castmate, Brit Eady, during a massive event.

Since then, the network cut ties with Moore and axed her from the promotion of season 16. However, she's not gone entirely. Throughout the promotional materials for the upcoming season, watchers saw a glimpse of the former Miss USA doing what she does best - stirring the pot.

Moore's presence in the trailer but not in the official cast photos confused many, including Kandi Burruss, and she voiced her frustration about it during a recent Amazon Live Event.

Kandi Burruss Does Not Like How Bravo Is Treating Her Friend

Burruss, who's a "Real Housewives of Atlanta" veteran, departed the series in 2024 after 14 seasons as a peach holder. Throughout her time on the show, though, she developed a close bond with Moore, who joined in season 5.

Consequently, the situation regarding Moore and the network hasn't sat well with her at all. During an Amazon Live Event, the "No Scrubs" writer shared her unfiltered thoughts about the Season 16 trailer and the fact that Moore wasn't given an official cast portrait.

According to Burruss, leaving Moore out of the promotional materials took things to another level.

"I was pissed about that," she said before saying Moore is the reason the season will have an explosive first half of episodes. She admitted that she's unsure how Bravo will "edit" the situation between Moore and Eady; however, Burruss feels strongly that shouldn't have impacted whether to include her in the season's promotion.

"But I'm like, y'all couldn't even let her picture be a part of the show? The other friends of the show had pictures," she continued while pointing out that longtime peach holder Cynthia Bailey, who will appear in Season 16 as a "friend of the show," also got an individual photo.

Kandi Burruss Does Not Like That Phaedra Parks Had A Cast Photo And Spot In The Trailer

Burruss continued her passionate monologue and even threw shade at her former best friend, Phaedra Parks, who will return to the show in 2025 after departing in 2017.

"Then you threw somebody else at the end of the clip, honey, a twerk session," she said, referencing the end of the super teaser, which showcased Parks dancing in front of Bailey. "But you couldn't put Kenya, who filmed half of that season?"

"The disrespect," she said before saying that Moore has contributed a lot to the show's success.
