‘Summer House’ star Lindsay Hubbard pregnant, expecting first baby with mystery boyfriend
Lindsay Hubbard revealed she told her mystery boyfriend that she was pregnant with their first child just three months after they started dating.
The “Summer House” star shared Friday that she took a pregnancy test after her period was two weeks late, and it came up positive.
“It immediately and unmistakably displayed with words ‘You are pregnant,’ and as shocking as that was, having a really clear result just helped alleviate the unknown. Those next steps are a little scary, but at least they’re easier just knowing one way or another what you’re working with,” she told People.
To confirm she was, in fact, expecting, Hubbard took a trip to her OB-GYN to get blood work.
The reality star, 37, got the results while she was on a plane for her best friend’s wedding in Mexico. (Yvonne Najor got married in mid-April in Punta Mita.)
“My boyfriend wasn’t with me, so that was a little hard. That’s not something you want to tell someone in a text message or a phone call, so I went through the wedding weekend and then told him when I got back,” she shared.
Hubbard admitted the pregnancy was a “surprise and a shock at first because we were not trying or even planning,” but after some discussions, they knew “it just felt so right for both of us.”
“We have a very loving, caring and healthy relationship. I finally feel like I met my match with him,” she gushed.
The former publicist has kept the identity of her mystery man under wraps, but she told the magazine that he is a “doctor who works in biotech investing and prefers to keep out of the public eye.”
“He’s just so excited to be a dad and proud to be having a child with me. It just means the world to have someone like him by my side. And yes, it is a lot of pressure on a new relationship, but I think because he’s the right man because we are so bonded and connected and communicate very effectively with each other that it hasn’t felt like work,” she raved.
Hubbard announced her pregnancy Thursday by posting pictures of her baby bump on Instagram, including one with her boyfriend holding her belly from behind. (His face was not visible in the shot.)
“Trigger Warning: This post contains more fireworks than the 4th of July! WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!!” she captioned the post.
The Bravolebrity thanked her followers for their well-wishes following day and shared how “relieved and excited” she is to “finally be able to celebrate openly, and with the world.”
“It has been extremely difficult to hide my excitement in secrecy, and now that I’m able to share my happiness and joy, I feel like a weight has been lifted (even though I’m actually gaining weight by the day lol)!” she wrote Friday.
“Our little cub is already so so loved! Thank you for all of the sweet comments, love, and support! We are truly over the moon right now!”
Hubbard first met the father of her baby in 2020, and they went on a few dates before he “respectfully” ended their relationship because of “bad timing.”
However, he reached out to her again in December 2023, and she agreed to meet up with him in January.
Hubbard was previously engaged to her co-star Carl Radke, but he dumped her on camera in August 2023.
