In the photos, posted to Phaedra's Instagram feed, Ayden can be seen smiling next to his mom, proving that he's now officially taller than her. The RHOA Season 16 cast member also posted photos of Ayden with his date before the dance, standing with his group of friends in front of a stretch limo, and hanging out with his date in casual clothes after the dance.
"Many of you watched me carry this blessing and birth him on television. He has grown up right before your eyes!" she wrote about the big moment. She added on Instagram, "Ayden (the Prince) attended his first #PDC dance aka Sadie Hawkins with the sweetest most adorable young lady."
Phaedra, who also shares 11-year-old son, Dylan Nida, with ex-husband, Apollo Nida, continued in the caption of the post, where she opened up about the challenges of parenting. She noted that she is so grateful for RHOA viewers who watched her as she embarked on her motherhood journey, as well as the boy moms "who have prayed with me and helped me with pick ups and drop offs."
"It hasn't always been easy because parenting doesn't come with a handbook, but [God] has ALWAYS seen me through," she wrote, alongside the words "grateful" and "proud mom."
Ayden is already doing some big things, like starting his own business. Phaedra spoke with Essence in January, where she revealed that both of her sons are entrepreneurs, but Ayden is already very hands-on in his ventures.
"Oldest son, he's into cryptocurrency," she explained. "Being financially sound is very important to me. So he's worked with my wealth managers, and he invests in Bitcoin and crypto. So it has been a great ride. But he's also into natural haircare. He wants to develop his own haircare line because honey, he can tell you everything about your coils and your 4Cs and your 2As and all this stuff. I have no idea what he's talking about, but he can pull your strand of hair out and tell you exactly what it's lacking. So I said, if you're this passionate about curls, you should probably do a hair line...We spend enough money on products. I said, 'You need to develop your own so we can make some money instead of spending all this money.'"
