Phaedra Parks has dramatically returned to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” after an eight-year absence. In the May 25 episode, Parks, 51, reclaimed her spot following Kenya Moore’s mid-season departure, making it clear she feels at home.
“I heard you were looking for me. Here y’all go,” Parks declared on the episode. “I’m back where I belong. Baby, I am home.”
The Atlanta-based attorney originally appeared on RHOA for seven seasons before being fired in 2017. The dismissal came after she admitted to spreading damaging rumors regarding fellow cast member Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker.
“Unfortunately, the last time you saw me wasn’t my best moment,” Parks admitted in a confessional. Still, she hinted she was not entirely at fault. “Now, we know I regret how I left the group, but he who is without fault cast the first stone.”
Rekindled Friendships and Quick-Witted Shade
Despite past tensions, it seems Parks and Porsha Williams, 43, have repaired their friendship. Williams shared that once she completed her “healing process,” she no longer thought about their fallout.
“My relationship with Porsha is awesome,” Parks said. “We have had our ups and downs, but we’ve always maintained that friendship. When there is a true friendship, no matter what you go through, it can never be broken, and it’s just like riding a bicycle. When we get together, we are rolling.”
“Wonder Twins, activate,” she added playfully, referencing their old nickname.
On the most recent episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Parks also wasted no time assessing the dynamics of the current cast. After comparing Kelli Ferrell to a “garden gnome” for being “so tiny,” she commented on Brit Eady’s romantic history, saying, “Brit’s been a girl about town. She’s a woman about the city. And countries, too. You know, she’s got more bodies than Willie, they say.”
Porsha Williams, laughing at the comparison to Georgia mortician Willie Watkins, responded, “Brit Eady, she’s been known to have a few suitors, but now she’s a married woman.”
Drama Brews Among Old and New Castmates
The shade and playful exchange between the two didn’t stop there.
When the conversation turned to Drew Sidora, Porsha poked fun at the extent of her relationship with Williams’ ex-husband Dennis McKinley, Parks asked, “You know she’s working with my child’s father?” Parks quipped, “They’re selling hot dogs?”
Regarding Angela Oakley, Parks claimed she didn’t even know Angela was married to former NBA player Charles Oakley. “This is the ki-ki I needed!” Porsha exclaimed before inviting Parks on an upcoming girls’ trip to Granada, Spain.
As the episode closed, Parks gleefully summed up her impressions of her castmates: Kelli was “strawberry shortcake on steroids,” Drew was “the very fluid friend, Drew-zilla,” Brit remained “the woman of our town,” and Angela was dubbed “the secret wife of Charles Oakley.”
“I cannot wait to dive in and have some fun,” Parks concluded. “Ooh, so delicious, like a buffet of foolishness.”
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo, with episodes available for streaming the next day on Peacock.
