While also reacting to Lisa, 49, calling her and her husband, Justin Rose, “liars,” addressing the podcaster Adam Newell’s denial of having blamed Lisa for the rumors about Prism, and looking back at Lisa’s “unhinged” behavior in Palm Springs, the 38-year-old Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star got shady with the series’ husbands and revealed if she heard from Lisa after Justin Rose poured out her Vida Tequila.
“I had to block her phone number because she would send me the most horrific text messages. So I just blocked her,” Whitney stated on the November 6 episode of WWHL, adding that she’ll see Lisa “at reunion.”
As for Lisa calling her and Justin liars, Whitney said she didn’t understand the “narrative.”
“I don’t know why she keeps with this narrative. I actually feel bad for her because she can’t prove anything that I’m lying about,” Whitney noted. “And at this point, it’s like, girl, that says more about you than it says about me.”
Regarding the podcaster’s recent suggestion that he didn’t actually say that Lisa started the rumor about Whitney’s Prism products coming from Alibaba and that the scene in which he seemingly did just that was “cleverly edited,” Whitney admitted to being confused.
“He told me explicitly that it was, on camera,” she shared. “And just a little back reference there, I’m friends with his husband so I’m very confused by the level of thirst and betrayal here because I have history with his husband. He’s from Utah, Mormon culture. I’m not gonna sell them out, but I’m very disappointed and hurt by that. [I] trusted the wrong person.”
That said, Whitney confirmed she still believed what the podcaster told her.
Looking back on their Palm Springs trip, Whitney said Lisa should not have called Heather Gay, 50, who Bronwyn Newport, 39, chose to exclude from the getaway.
“Not at that time,” she stated.
She also felt that Todd Bradley, 65, had reason to want to kick Lisa and John Barlow out of where they were staying.
“She was absolutely unhinged. I was there,” Whitney explained.
According to Whitney, she was neutral about Bronwyn and Heather’s feud in Palm Springs and “really wanted Heather on the trip.”
“[But] hindsight’s 20/20 … [and] now I see Heather’s side,” she added.
Regarding the drama between Meredith Marks, 52, and Shawn Trujillo, who had mentioned Meredith’s son, Brooks Marks, 25, on the Behind The Velvet Rope With David Yontef podcast, suggesting she’d used his sexuality to confirm she is an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community, Whitney did not believe Shawn owed Meredith an apology.
“For what? No. He should not have. I’m sorry,” she said.
When WWHL hosted a poll, in which it asked, “Who would you trust sooner to defend your honor, John or Justin,” Whitney proclaimed, “Justin!”
Then, when John took the lead in the poll, Whitney suspected, “That’s probably cuz Lisa has all her trolls out.”
As for whether she believes Heather is a true friend after seeing her sometimes-shady confessionals, Whitney confirmed, “She is my friend and she would have my back, moving forward, for sure.”
During a game in which she was asked to choose between the husbands of RHOSLC, Whitney named John as the “most whipped” and said Seth Marks was the “biggest a**hole,” had the “biggest ego,” and was the one who secretly loved the cast’s drama the most.
After the live broadcast, while appearing on the WWHL: After Show, Whitney was asked if she’d sooner reconcile with Lisa, or if Angie Katsanevas, 50, would do the same.
“That’s hard because I don’t see either coming anytime soon. I’m hopeful for the reunion that we can have some real talk and get to the bottom of things because there’s nothing worse than feuding with your friends but Lisa has dug herself in a grave of lies that are just…”
