Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell has sent a playful nudge to her partner Joe Sugg regarding a potential wedding with a cheeky four-word message.
The 36-year-old dancer met her partner, YouTuber Joe Sugg, when they were paired on Strictly in 2018. They made it to the final, however Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton were the ones to lift the Glitterball Trophy.
Since then, Dianne and Joe's relationship has blossomed, with the couple publicly confirming their romance later that year, and house-hunting shortly after.
By February 2021, the couple had purchased their first shared home, a £.35 million London home, reports DevonLive.
However despite the couple taking serious steps in their relationship, fans are eager for Joe to get down on one knee.
Addressing this on her Winning Isn't Everything podcast, which she hosts alongside her ex-Strictly partner and fellow winner, Chris McCausland, Dianna made a humorous comment about her ring finger.
During a discussion about fingers, Dianne pointed to her ring finger and asked: "What's that one, your best friend finger?"
Only for Chris to respond: "It's the one Joe's done nothing with."
Dianne playfully added: "Exactly, we need to remind Joe what that finger holds. That finger is feeling very lonely, it needs something to weigh it down with."
However, Dianna has previously said that marriage isn't an immediate priority for her and Joe.
Speaking with the Mirror, she shared that career ambitions are taking precedence and that marriage is something they're considering in a relaxed and easy-going manner.
She told the publication: "Joe and I don't really talk about that kind of thing. We're both so relaxed so we just play it by ear. We really enjoy each other's company so much and whatever happens, happens."
Joe, the younger sibling of renowned YouTuber Zoe Sugg, was 27 when he first met Dianne and has shared that she is his first "proper girlfriend".
In a candid chat with The Sunday Times in 2021, Joe revealed: "Dianne is my first girlfriend. Other than, like, my penpal from when I was 10."
He also discussed his initial hesitation to post romantic pictures with Dianne, explaining: "My audience was very protective over me. But they instantly accepted Dianne, because we were partnered on Strictly, so after the show finished and we got together, they already felt like they knew her well."
Social media followers frequently express their eagerness for Joe and Dianne to tie the knot whenever the couple posts photos together. A fan commented: "Can you get married."
Johannes Radebe, another Strictly Come Dancing professional, teased on Instagram: "If you don't marry him Di, I will.."
