Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is coming off a solid season in which he was targeted 103 times and caught 73 receptions for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns.
However, after playing under the franchise tag in 2024 and having not yet agreed to a contract extension, he's set to become a free agent and is considered one of the best wide receivers on the market.
He's sure to have a number of suitors, and in a recent article written by Nick Brinkerhoff of USA Today , he's predicted to land with the Los Angeles Chargers, pairing him with star quarterback Justin Herbert.
This would be a major addition for the Chargers and especially Herbert, who's under contract until the end of the 2029 season as part of a five-year $262.5 million extension.
Higgins could immediately become the team's top receiving threat, alleviating some stress from wide receiver Ladd McConkey, who in his rookie season had 82 receptions (led team), 1,149 yards (led team) and seven touchdowns.
He would also be able to help elevate Los Angeles' offense overall, which ranked 11th in points per game (23.6) and 20th in total yards per game (324.2) in 2024.
Higgins' potential contract is expected to carry a very heavy price, though, as Spotrac predicts his market value to be $25.4 million annually.
