The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers hint that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) may propose marriage to Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), so Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) pain could get even worse.
Despite Brooke’s attempt to reunite with Ridge and convince him to come home, he refused in the end.
Ridge couldn’t deny that he still loved Brooke on some level, but he considers her part of his past now.
Taylor is Ridge’s future as far as he’s concerned, so he’s standing by the commitment they made to each other.
Since Ridge is so focused on all this “commitment” talk, maybe he’ll take things a step further soon.
If Ridge intends to spend the rest of his life with Taylor, then he might as well put a ring on it.
Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) might even pressure Ridge to pop the question in the coming weeks.
If Ridge does buy Taylor an engagement ring and surprise her with a romantic marriage proposal, that could really push Brooke over the edge!
Brooke is already heartbroken over losing Ridge, but watching him tie the knot with Taylor could add to her suffering.
There was a time when Ridge wanted to remarry Brooke instead, but their wedding plans eventually faded away.
Ridge ultimately acted like it wasn’t necessary to have another marriage ceremony, so Brooke’s bound to be hurt if he has another one with Taylor.
It may leave Brooke struggling to understand why Ridge never felt she was worthy of becoming his bride again.
Whatever the case, we can’t ignore how much B&B’s concentrating on Ridge being committed to Taylor.
It’s reasonable to think Ridge might want to demonstrate that commitment by proposing to Taylor and sealing the deal on their married future together.
If Ridge and Taylor eventually give everyone updates on some engagement news, could that push Brooke to truly move on?
Brooke’s down-the-road reunion with Ridge might be inevitable, but she could find someone else to love in the meantime.
Regardless, Ridge has been making some predictions about building something that lasts with Taylor and putting Brooke in the rearview mirror.
