Tom Holland has revealed what he would love to do if Miles Morales got to join his Spider-Man movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Holland will soon return to the franchise with the anticipated Spider-Man 4. No details have been revealed about the movie, but Holland just revealed that he has read the Spider-Man 4 script and that he was excited about the direction it is headed in. While Marvel seems to remain focused on Peter Parker for now, the actor is already looking ahead at the MCU's possible second Spider-Man.
Speaking with Rich Roll, Tom Holland said that if Miles Morales ever joins the MCU, he would like to help the young actor who plays Miles like Robert Downey Jr. helped him.
The comment came after a segment in the interview where Holland revealed how Downey was the one who fought for the Russo Brothers to shoot all of Holland's Spider-Man lines from his audition in Captain America: Civil War when they had been severely reduced for the film. Holland thinks he would be lucky to do something like that for a live-action Miles Morales actor if the hero ever joins the MCU. Check out the full quote below:
“If I would be lucky enough to somehow bring Miles Morales into my Spider-Man universe and into the MCU, I’d love to do for a young kid what [Robert] Downey [Jr.] did for me.”
What Tom Holland's Miles Morales Comments Mean
Peter Parker And Miles Morales Can Co-Exist In The MCU
After receiving that kind of support from Robert Downey Jr., the most important actor in the MCU, it would make sense that Holland would want to be there and help a young actor who takes on Miles Morales in a similar way. After all, Holland is the star of the most successful Spider-Man movies of all time. His experience coming into the MCU at a young age and leading the Spider-Man franchise could be invaluable for a rising star trying to make his name in the industry.
