Tom Holland Reveals Miles Morales Dream For The MCU's Spider-Man

Tom Holland has revealed what he would love to do if Miles Morales got to join his Spider-Man movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Holland will soon return to the franchise with the anticipated Spider-Man 4. No details have been revealed about the movie, but Holland just revealed that he has read the Spider-Man 4 script and that he was excited about the direction it is headed in. While Marvel seems to remain focused on Peter Parker for now, the actor is already looking ahead at the MCU's possible second Spider-Man.

Speaking with Rich Roll, Tom Holland said that if Miles Morales ever joins the MCU, he would like to help the young actor who plays Miles like Robert Downey Jr. helped him.

The comment came after a segment in the interview where Holland revealed how Downey was the one who fought for the Russo Brothers to shoot all of Holland's Spider-Man lines from his audition in Captain America: Civil War when they had been severely reduced for the film. Holland thinks he would be lucky to do something like that for a live-action Miles Morales actor if the hero ever joins the MCU. Check out the full quote below:

“If I would be lucky enough to somehow bring Miles Morales into my Spider-Man universe and into the MCU, I’d love to do for a young kid what [Robert] Downey [Jr.] did for me.”

Peter Parker And Miles Morales Can Co-Exist In The MCU

After receiving that kind of support from Robert Downey Jr., the most important actor in the MCU, it would make sense that Holland would want to be there and help a young actor who takes on Miles Morales in a similar way. After all, Holland is the star of the most successful Spider-Man movies of all time. His experience coming into the MCU at a young age and leading the Spider-Man franchise could be invaluable for a rising star trying to make his name in the industry.

This is not the first time that Holland has commented on Miles Morales joining the MCU. Previously, Holland imposed a Spider-Man deadline for himself. According to the star, if he was still 30 and had not passed on the Spider-Man mantle to Miles Morales or another legacy hero, then he would have done something wrong. At 28, it makes sense that Holland dreams about Miles coming into the MCU and sharing the screen with a young actor in the role. While Holland could stick around as Peter Parker after his self-imposed deadline, he has eyes on Miles' MCU debut.

Our Take On Tom Holland's Miles Morales Dream

The MCU Can Handle Two Ongoing Spider-Men

I believe Spider-Man: No Way Home showed the power multiple Spider-Men have together. By bringing in Miles Morales, the MCU could continue that after the Multiverse Saga ends. Holland's Spider-Man is now an adult, so I think that by having the two, the MCU would bring variety to the Spider-Man films. Miles could star in high-school adventures while Peter Parker grows up and starts a family with Zendaya's MJ or a new love interest. Having the two versions of Spider-Man together can only help the MCU, so I'm excited that Tom Holland wants to see Miles Morales debut.
