Wild prospect leads Tournament in Save Percentage

   

Wild prospect Samuel Hlavaj currently leads the IIHF World Championships tournament in save percentage and has been one of the best goaltenders in the whole tournament. 

The only other goaltender that is challenging Hlavaj as the best goalie is Filip Gustavsson, another Wild goalie. Gustavsson has a 1.50 goals-against average and a .932 save percentage. 

He ranks second among goaltenders in the tournament in GAA and is third in SV%.

Hlavaj, 22, currently leads the tournament with a .939 save percentage and is fifth in goals-against average with a 1.93 GAA. He has one shutout as well. 

The Wild signed Hlavaj in April after he played in 28 games for HC Škoda Plzeň of the Czech Extraliga. He posted a 3.10 goals-against average and a .902 save percentage.
